It might just be me, but I thought yesterday was a particularly cranky day for some posters. Generally, dKos for me a place where we share ideas, joke around, and even talk trash to one another.
But yesterday things were downright nasty. I had a poster I'd never interacted with before tell me I was ignorant and that he didn't "like people like me." I flamed back and was justly rated down for it.
So, what's the point here? The point is that yesterday's experience made me that much more grateful for other people that I happily exchange posts with a lot and wanted to share my gratitude by naming some of those friends.
(PS: I should tell you, I have no idea if these people feel the same way about me, I like them anyway.)
- Stephdray: A kindred spirit. We often seem to share the same views and get the same kinds of ideas.
- Maryscott O'Connor: I love the way she dishes, it's like a bitch session with your buddy. No hard feelings afterwards and lots of funny memories.
- danthrax: A poster who always has something insightful and seems like a cheerful soul.
- whometense: Another person who always has great posts and who I am always happy to read.
- DCDemocrat: knows the way caffeine affects the brain. Just one example of useful posts.
This is a quick, off the top of my head list. But my sincere thanks to these posters and others who generally make spending time here fun.
