My second diary is more of a fluff piece I guess, but none the less my curiosity demands some answers. It has been reported several times that 70% of American voters support the medical use of marijuana and that is great, soon it might be passed into legislation nation wide. My question is recreational use, just about every where I have traveled the good herb is easily found even after decades of prohibition and seems to be in use with no regards for class or economic situation.
Even to this day you can see the government at all levels spreading false information to further their cause, which in my opinion boils done to the lower levels of government not wanting to let go of a cash cow that daily pays the light bill at the expense of us all.
For those that will try to argue that pot is harmful and should get the same treatment as crack and heroin I have included a link to a myth/fact site that should set you strait.

One myth the government loves I will bust right here before your very eyes, no magic trick just common sense. MARIJUANA IS A GATEWAY DRUG: true and false. It is prohibition that causes this; it is common damn sense that people seeking marijuana have to go to black market sources which is where they come into contact with other black market items like real drugs. No ban, no back ally dealing, no more gateway.
I don't think even your handle gets attached to the poll so you can be honest with out worry, I would love to know where the Kossacks stack up on this one and would love to see a few good comments or personal feelings in the thread.
Smoke em if you got em.
