Taking a break from more serious work, I thought it might be useful to put together a compilation of all the incidents relating to Bernard Kerik that have hit the news recently. Josh Marshall, the Center for American Progress and Atrios have been doing a good job on this - and this morning I also saw a diary here that provided a number of links on this. I didn't want to merely add to the existing collection - I wanted to provide a compilation that is systematic and an easy reference for the future.
I can't help but think that such an excellent opportunity for the Democrats is being wasted once again. After all it was Bush who said "You can judge the nature of a man by the company he keeps". After all, Kerik displayed many of the wonderful qualities that President Bush saw in himself and considered compassionately conservative and worth celebrating with a nomination.
