Josh Marshall has just posted a question on his site:
So many progressive organizations out there with time on their hands. Which one will put together the online database listing where every representative and senator stands on Social Security?
Who supports the program, who wants to phase it out, and who's keeping their cards close to their vest, trying to figure which way the wind will blow?
Only a bit of money and only a bit of staff resources -- and to such good effect. Who will step up to the plate?
I'm stepping up.
I have made a blog,
http://savesocialsecurity.blogspot.com/ , at which I am answering Josh Marshall's call for an online database of legislators. There's a lot of work to do, but I've got the structure up already.
All I need is your help. I'm doing my best to look at the Senate websites and sort through the legislators, but there's no way I can get through them all as well as the House members. So who's willing to help?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Even helping me out with one congressmen makes a difference.
