I just heard this on Air America's Al Franken show: Tom Oliphant and the hosts pointed out that in the context of the press conference Bush attack on Social Security Bush started to say
"...I just want to try to condition you. I'm not doing a very good job. Because the other day in the oval..." In context its pretty clear that he meant it as in "I want to brainwash you into thinking that Social Security is broken." This is an amazingly revealing faux pas that tells us he is well aware of the propaganda aspects of repeating his lies ad naseum until people believe the lies. Bingo! Finally its out in the open.
Also he say's "Don't bother to ask me." to the press corp and then backpedals.
Watch the video. The first quote is at 22 minutes. The second is about 22:57. Its all very interesting.
