Hola, fellow OpRAters. It's that time again. Time to decide which message to use for next week's flyer. There were lots of great ideas suggested over the past two threads, and I've picked a few to decide from. There were some others that I'd like to see developed a bit more, as well, but I will discuss that in the comments. For now, without further ado, here are the nominated messages for this week.

Message #1Wall Street Wins, The People Lose
Republicans who say we should privatize Social Security aren't mentioning that huge broker fees will far outweigh any gains for US citizens. Not only will future benefits be cut, but they are counting on the stock market to make up the difference. But if the market goes down, so does your retirement income. If the market crashes, so do you. And if their scheme becomes law, they will have to go much deeper in debt to pay for today's retirees. The numbers just don't add up for this destructive plan.
Message #2Supporting Our Troops?
With over 10,000 wounded and maimed soldiers currently in Veteran's hospitals, President Bush & Congress has cheated our soldiers by slashing VA benefits. Meanwhile, the President is spending $50 million on his inaguration party. Where are their priorities? It is shameful to spend $50 million on a party and cut veteran's benefits. This is a betrayal to our troops. It's just not American.
Message #3Congress Punishes Middle Class College Students
Congress, led by Republicans, has passed a bill that will take financial aide away from over 90,000 hard working college students. Students from poor and middle class families rely on financial aide to better themselves through education, and Congress abuses its power by leaving them in the cold. It's just not American
