I did a search and couldn't find anything about Air America so I am going to give everyone an update.
In today's Cincinnati Enquirer its reported radio station WSAI which is currently oldies (map of coverage) will change to Air America before the end of the year (and its a 50,000 watt station!)
More on DC and LA after the break
Los Angeles:
As for Los Angeles, Janeane Garofalo on 12/2/2004 said Air America will be coming to Los Angeles after the 1st of the year (this has been rumored for a while but nothing firm). Once they announce it on air it seems to be a done deal.
Here are 2 threads discussing Air America on radio-info: here, and here
Basically it breaks down like this for those of you who dont want to read the threads, one of the 3 stations either, 570 KLAC (coverage map), 1150 (simulcasts 690), or 690 KXTA (coverage map) will go Air America (which is great because there all powerful stations)
Washington DC
Evidently they are now saying after the 1st of the year they will have an affliate in Washington DC as well. Heres the thread on radio-info discussing the possible candidates. The bad news is most of the candidates for change suck (5,000 watts or less but to be honest evidently AM in DC sucks in general) with the most likely being WWRC (coverage map)
BTW all of these are Clear Channel Stations. Just thought everyone would like to know the updates as I found them.
