The Committeefor a Unified Independent Party has a poll on its website (top center) asking independents questions about Kerry, Edwards and Nader (should he run?).

I don't especially want to start a discussion about Nader, but let's discuss political independents.

Are you a political independent?
What does it mean to be an independent?
Why are other people independents?
What is the significance of the number of people indentifying with the Democrats and Republicans decreasing?
