There hasn't been enough coverage in the press of what might be dubbed Kahn-Gate, in other words our decision to let Pakistan off the hook for their meretricious nuclear policies in exchange for their half-hearted, half-assed cooperation in getting Al Qaeda.
Now the chicken come home to roost with this new headline, which should send a shiver down the spine of everyone who saw 60 MINUTES last night. Meaning, in other words, has this Administration of fools, knaves and scoundrels made one more error of judgment, this time of colossal proportions.
Pakistani Daily Times:
Osama Bin Laden's terror network claims to have bought ready-made nuclear weapons on a central Asian black market, the biographer of Al Qaeda's No 2 leader was quoted as telling an Australian television station. In an interview scheduled to be televised on Monday, Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir said that Ayman Al Zawahri claimed that "smart briefcase bombs" were available on the black market.
Now, I think this is probably propaganda, but there'll come a time when Bush's deadly combination of incompetence and villainy will kill us all.
