NBCnews is saying Condi Rice pans to ask for a private interview.
Richard Clarke's testimony to the independent commission investigating the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks was considered so damaging that national security adviser Condoleezza Rice planned to ask the panel for a private interview to answer his allegations, a senior White House official told NBC News on Thursday.

The other interesting bit is that they may demand she do it under oath. Thier policy has been that rebuttal to sworn testimony must be submitted under oath. The rest is pretty much a rehash.
Condi's previous interview with the panel was not given under oath. Obviously, the panel should insist that she testify under oath, if her objective is to refute Clarke's testimony. I don't see how you can wiegh sworn vs unsworn testimony.
