Richard Clarke on MTP

Clarke stands tall and handles all of Russert's gotcha attempts.  Nothing really new, but a couple of highlights:

Clarke in response to Frist:  OK, let's declassify all my testimony and all of my e-mails to Condi.  But let's go one step further: let's declassify Condi's responses as well as her testimony to the 9-11 commission. "We owe it to the victim's families."

Clarke produces handwritten note from Bush commending him for his great service to the nation.

Clarke asks over and over: Why is the administration spending all these resources - paid by the US taxpayers - to attack me, rather than to fix the issues uncovered by the 9-11 commission?

Bush gets a "failing grade" for his handling of terrorism.

Thanks to the war in Iraq, Al Qaeda has "morphed into a hydra-headed beast".  At this stage, finding Bin Laden is almost irrelevant.
