I'm on the state line, TN/GA. Apparently many of us down here in both states received pre-primary calls from the Kerry people who, when they sensed support for Edwards, gave the pitch "Well, vote for Kerry, because he's going to win, and he plans to put Edwards on as VP, so it's two for one!"
So, some of the Kerry votes might have been in reality longing for Edwards influenced by the Kerry "inevitability" mojo.
Anybody in other parts of the country get Kerry calls like this? What proportion of the Kerry vote do you think was a vote for the Kerry/Edwards ticket? How pissed will those people be if Edwards does NOT win the veepstakes?
