New UAW contract--the destruction of the middle class continues...

get your mind off the Religious right and the wacky fundies and focus on the real enemies of America. The UAW has just signed onto a contract with American Axle after a one day strike. the new contract calls into effect a two-tier wage system, just like the ones the California grocery union workers accepted the other week. I find this the most pressing problem in America today: the utter abandonment of the middle/working class.

And no one reports about it much (except the happy business press). Is there a labor blog somewhere (other than the official ones--i like SEIU's). I wish these issues could get 1/10th the attention of gay marriage, both among activists and the media (and the politicians of course).
