I have heard lots of GOPers say that the polls don't matter this early into the race and that there can be large changes. However I remember seeing a study from Gallup post-1950 mentioned that they had not polled an incumbent president this far behind in february. I have hunted for it but can't find it...does anyone have this link?
On a different matter... things look very good for Kerry right now. I am worried about the flip-flop charges but he has strong appeal among women. I know this is a general Dem characteristic but are there any theories on why his is so strong?
