Start with the case of Brandon Mayfield, the lawyer from Oregon:
(an expanded version of a post from yesterday)
They had him on a list, of course. A caucasian muslim convert with an egyptian wife-- equals-- surveillance, break-ins. First place they'd look after any incident of anything anywhere.
And then, in true Ashcroft style, they jumped to conclusions, blindly misread facts, and-- get this-- chained him to a wall for two weeks without benefit of counsel or contact with family. He believed in the wrong God.
I don't know which aspect of their behavior is more appalling-- that they called the media IMMEDIATELY after the arrest-- that, like boy George, they can only see what suits them ("in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king")-- or that, they are eager to deny everyone else's rights while according themselves the right to do absolutely anything they want.
Which reminds me of this: Ashcroft diverts approx. 20 FBI agents from the WOT and sends them to New Orleans to hunt down pornographers at the same time that our soldiers are instructed in the identical cheesy arts at Abu Ghraib.
Paradox? Contradiction? NO!
Pornography is essentially a masturbator's tool (think Sade in the Bastille, fantasizing away)
How different is this-- talking structure, not subject, here-- from the PNAC, brainstorming during their time out of power (Clinton years)wanking away about restructuring the whole Middle East (while the population throws flowers, if you please)
Now, just for 'fun,' add this nugget of wisdom from an Indian sage: "Our actions are the lives of our thoughts."
Our nation is in the hands of wankers! Jack-off joes, every one of them.
Dear kossacks, in your infinite wisdom, can you think of other 'patriot-isms' like this? Add them to this thread, okay?
