I'm A Leading Economic Indicator: Jobs are Increasing

I do contract technical work.  My resume is in the files of probably around 1000 technical recruiters.

I have a job (Working for the Carlyle group, and you think that your life is surreal!), so I'm not looking, but the volume of unsolicited contacts is a good indicator of what's going on in the job market.

I had nothing until March, and maybe 1x/week until about mid May.

It's not up to about 5-6x a week, and this is when I'm not actively looking.

People are hiring not, it's not just fudging the Birth/Death Model.
