This is just shocking idiocy. I checked and I didn't see it in diaries so I figured I'd add it. The EPA is getting ready to run an ad campaign promoting energy efficiency at home. But their method of doing so is to mock efforts to get more mileage out of your car. They make home conservation seem much more reasonable and effective than trying to burn less gas with your car. Further they apparently see nothing wrong with the ads.
Thats the current state of the EPA. Save the enviornment, but not by doing anything crazy like not buying a massive gas guzzler from detroit. It makes a mockery of the entire agency.
