So Bush disses France in his interview on Irish television. Then he urges the EU to accept Turkey. Jacques Chirac tells Bush to mind his own beeswax - it's as if France were telling the US how to conduct its affairs with Mexico. Bush
ignores Chirac and repeats the diatribe.
Chirac picked the wrong example. Discussing Turkey-EU is not like meddling in US-Mexico affairs. It's more like the French taking a position on whether the District of Columbia should be admitted as a separate US State. Hope you're listening, Jacques! Please help Bush to get the point, for once.
