Say what you will about Bush and Company, they have their supporters, whereas recent polls show
Nader's negatives are in the 70s.
He threw the election in 2000 (
polls show his voters would have broken about 46% for Gore, 23% for Bush, and 31% for neither, meaning +23,000 votes in Florida for Gore and the election). Nader's behavior this cycle is reprehensible,
relying on right-wingers to get him on the ballot. He's even
stiffed homeless petition gatherers in Pennsylvania, refused to pay them -- that's low.
Now from California, Nader fails to collect enough signatures to make California ballot:
"It was very difficult collecting these signatures, as you can imagine," [Nader's campaign coordinator in California] said Saturday. "We tried to get some help, but the paid signature gatherers did not work for more than a week or two. They all quit. They said it was too abusive, the attacks that went on" from people opposed to Nader's candidacy.
However there are still people who think Nader is right. What do you think?
