I think that many in the "respectable" media are realizing that they've been embedded in the Bushit too deeply to let their sins of complicity with this War of Errors get exposed any more than they have been already.
A Kerry victory implies a message that the media did not act in the best interest of the people by providing cover for the Osama/Saddam=9/11 switcheroo.
Many in the Media know that they were Bush Bitches during the runnup to Iraq and didn't tell us the truth in time to avoid this strategic (and unfortunatly, tragic)mistake.
They may feel that a Bush victory will absolve them of their crimes against their profession.
Kerry can still win over the media the hard way: Issue a challenge/appeal to those in the media who still have integrity to stand up for their profession and demand an honest debate about the truth of our situation backed by actual facts not puffery and smear.
He said/She said political coverage isn't good enough for Americans anymore. When one side is willing to go to any length to mislead the public and game the media with a barrage of false talking points, it is the duty of our press to clear up disinformation and illuminate its source.
If we try to fight them on patriotic imagery- we lose.
If we try to out-anger them- we lose
If we try to out-macho them- we lose (this is the fight the Rove thugs want and a trap they've sprung in NYC)
If we out-truth them - we win
In order to out-truth them, we must outsmart them.
I know Kerry's got it in him, let's help him get it out!
Don't just Vote this election, VOTE THE HELL OUT OF IT!
