Simply put -- nobody cares. Sure, around here we see it as a big deal and proof of White House wrongdoing, but it's not getting much play in the media, and pretty much no airtime whatsoever (I haven't seen it anywhere.) As far as I can tell, it will never be big news.
You are probably saying to yourselves, "Hey, it is a big deal." You may be right, but it's extremely easy for the White House to claim that they didn't know anything and don't control the press because of freedom of speech, and end up untarnished. Plus, the media are not going to want to make it a big story tarnishing themselves, because this would not be about Jeff Gannon, but about media corruption. They only take out those that are a financial threat to them. They're not going to waste their credibility fighting a nobody.
So, get all of this Gannon crap out of your systems, then focus on the important things. The Bush administration is still up to no good, the war in Iraq is still killing innocent people, and the environment is hurtling towards disaster. We've got plenty to focus on without wasting our time on a nobody that has no chance to tarnish Bush's reputation in the process.
