As another user, firedoglake, has noted, a powerful documentary concerning the civil rights era, and thusly greatly King himself, has been subjected due to various copyright laws-- The DemocracyNow.org presentation contains much invaluable footage during the audio proceedings, as the king speeches are simply audio. So perhaps this will at least make visible, to some degree, that which we've been deemed unworthy to access.

I am in no way affiliated with the site DemocracyNow.org, nor do i know any one concerned with the organization. However, i do find it a brilliant source of daily news, and excellent specials/expert commentary, and beg you, if you have not already (which i'm aware a fair majority of you may have--it is well worth noting for those who have yet to), take note of their humane and progressive variety of news, Many, many hours of -free- archive footage, and Brilliant specials, such as this one concerning Dr. King.
and, while we're at it, i ask you to consider donations/ your support, if you see fit to do so.
