With the DNC Chairman election approaching its clear that the election of Mayor Wellington Webb will only further cripple the Democratic party. During his twelve years as mayor of Denver, Webb managed to run up big bills with which his successor (Mayor John Hickenlooper) has had to contend. Webb's main legacy are all the buildings in Denver with his name on them. This is clearly indicative of someone with an ego. Of course, that was true throughout his term which can even be evidenced when his limo raced back from the airport at excessive speeds with which no one was ever charged. Why? Well Webb wanted to flaunt himself.
The man lacks principles having never done anything for the environment or people in need of health care and only showed tepid disapproval of Colorado Amendment 2 (dubbed the Gay ban) because it was hurting the local economy. Wellington Webb pales in comparison to better choices such as Howard Dean, Donnie Fowler, and Leo Hindrey.
