Is it me? Or is there an alarming rate of violent acts by recently returned Iraq vets. This is legitimate public safety concern that is mostly going unaddressed. These soldiers are getting screwed by the govt. and the public is left with the ruins. Thanks again Rummy!
On Friday, 19-year-old Megan Leann Holden was found shot to death in a ditch near Stanton in West Texas, about 380 miles west of Tyler, where she had been abducted. Evidence at the scene indicated she was killed where her body was dumped, and The Dallas Morning News quoted an investigator as saying she was partially clothed...
......Police said Williams, a preacher's son who was discharged last year after four years as a Marine, was arrested last month in Tyler on a cocaine possession charge. He was released the same day on $2,000 bond.
Police said Williams also was involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store in Texas on Thursday.
"Something happened to my son," the suspect's mother, Pat Williams, told Dallas television station KDFW, saying he had trouble adjusting to civilian life after serving in Iraq. "Some of the things that he endured I may never know. But it changed who he is and for that I'm sorry."......... link

.....While we'll never know the exact nature of his motivation, the man who killed Damageplan guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott on Wednesday (December 9) night has been identified as 25 year-old Nathan Gale of Marysville, Ohio. After killing a total of four people and injuring several others, Gale was shot and killed by police.
