George W. Bush is a terrible human being. Absolutely terrible. From the transcript of this morning's press conference with the man.
Q I seem to remember a time in Texas on another problem, taxes, where you tried to get out in front and tell people it's not a crisis now, it's going to be a crisis down the line -- you went down in flames on that one. Why --
THE PRESIDENT: Actually, I -- if I might. (Laughter.) I don't think a billion-dollar tax relief that permanently reduced property taxes on senior citizens was "flames," but since you weren't a senior citizen, perhaps that's your definition of "flames."
Q I never got my billion --
THE PRESIDENT: Yes. Because you're not a senior citizen yet. Acting like one, however. Go ahead. (Laughter.)
Q What is there about government that makes it hard --
THE PRESIDENT: Faulty memory. (Laughter.)
Yes, that's correct. It's copied and pasted from the transcript of this morning's press conference, in case they edit that block out later. George W. Bush, poking fun of a reporter for his "faulty memory" and saying that it makes it seem like he's acting like a senior citizen.
My grandfather had Alzheimer's disease and died from it a few years ago. He didn't remember me for the last few months of his life. My father had to care for him. This is bringing tears to my eyes.
Dick Cheney's wife said it best back in October..."This is not a good man."
And I'm not too happy with whoever it was who was laughing at him either.
