Attention Night Shift!

What is it with this site that nobody reads Satire? I posted this entry earlier tonight, and as near as I can tell one person (and thank you GN1927!) read it. One person out of what I'm told is around 36,000 people online at any given time. Within 30 minutes, it was buried under 3 pages of entries. The piece is not that long, 1233 words, and I really would like some feedback. If it sucks, I'd like to know. I put some real effort into framing a satire piece that would illustrate the issues facing the party on gun control.

Do people really limit themselves at DKos to TV (Leno, Letterman, Stewart) or established outlets for their satire and humor? Just curious, drop me a comment at either place. I've got a fairly tough skin...
