What does Bush do when ratings go bad?

Terror!  Terror!

Don't forget the War on Terror!

Terror!  Terror!

*cue: 45 minute speech on terror

*cue: subway mission to secure can of Draino

*cue: evacuation of the Washington Monument

Weeee ooohh weeee ooohh

Oh, by the way, we're not safer than before 9/11.

And both of these terrorist scares are based on admittedly weak intelligence.

Think it's working?  Well, after viewing people smiling and waving at the camera behind the reporters at the subway station like they do at the Today Show, I'm not too impressed.

This presidency might just be too battered to recover on the fear card.  And no wonder, they have proven that they can't protect us.

Mr. President, you might want to keep that fear card in your pocket and do your job.  It would help you more than lip service at this point.
