DeLay Accuses Earle of Prosecutorial Misconduct

Late this afternoon came word down here in Texas -- http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/topstory/3387122 -- that twice-indicted Sugar Land Congressman Tom DeLay has accused Travis County DA Ronnie Earle of prosecutorial misconduct, in an attempt to have the charges thrown out.

It seems Mr. DeLay and his lawyer Dick DeGeurin have taken a page from the Karl Rove playbook -- when you're attacked, demonize and attempt to discredit your attacker.

Of course, the revelation in today's Houston Chronicle today -- http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/politics/3386125 -- that Mr. DeLay's story about what happened with TRMPAC, is already changing should have no impact, right?

Poor Tom is just a victim of that vast left-wing conspiracy.
