Evening everybody.
Truth is, I missed this episode, but I've heard that Joe Scarborough was pretty rude to former Irish President and UN Human Rights Commissioner, Mary Robinson.
Sadly, HBO doesn't archive transcripts or privide clips, and our friends at Crooks and Liars and Daily Dissent haven't uploaded any clips either.
As a dual Irish-American citizen, I have long watched President Robinson's career and think she is an outstanding advocate who was pushed out of her job at the UN by the Bush administration. (In fact, I think she'd make a great Secretary General but that's another story.)
The Irish people love Mary Robinson. Indeed, the shabbiness of her treatment at the hands of Team Bush did much to earn Ireland's distrust.
So, if anyone has clips, links, or transcripts or can even just talk about the program (I understand she called the secret prisons "shocking") I would be very grateful.
