The Washington Post's Howard Kurtz never ceases to amaze with his curious reporting choices. In this morning's media notes column, for example, Howie chooses to completely ignore the Bill O'Reilly lets blow up San Francisco comments, instead focusing on the reaction to the Post's secret prison story.
Who does Howie trot out as the right's talking head on the matter, to sound the bell of Bushie outrage? But of course the man with the less than virtuous gambling habit and those draconian theories about how to reduce the crime rate, Bill Bennett:
"Bill Bennett, a fierce critic of the Post story. "This woman might have to go to jail too. . . . The hypocrisy here is for the media establishment to say some great wrong was done to Valerie Plame, but where is the outrage about Dana Priest?""
On the otherhand, perhaps Bill knows of what he speaks. He certainly does qualify as an hypocrisy expert. Just like Howie
