Wow.
Delusion runs deep in this one. So does contradiction. John Hinderaker writes in The Daily Standard that Republicans are regaining momentum both in the White House and in Congress.
Why are they gaining momentum? Because he said so.
There can be little doubt that the administration is on the upswing.

That thundering sound in the distance might be a solid phalanx of elephants, on the move once more.
Most of the article are his standard delusions
"Tom DeLay was indicted by a partisan Texas Democrat, District Attorney Ronnie Earle; DeLay's lawyer now has Earle on the run."
<snip>
"An aide to the vice president has been accused of lying to a grand jury about telling the truth to the press about Joe Wilson's lies about the administration."
<snip>
"Most important, there are signs that Bush's decline in the polls has bottomed out. Some of the polls showing precipitously declining support are obviously flawed, to such an extent as to suggest that they were designed to produce that result."
<snip>
"There can be little doubt that the administration is on the upswing. In order of importance, at least three factors have brought the party's conservative base, and some other voters, back into the president's camp: his nomination of Judge Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court; his counter-attack against the Democrats on Iraq; and the dashing of the Democrats' hopes for Patrick Fitzgerald's investigation of the Valerie Plame "leak.""
You could write dozens of diaries discounting each of these delusions (in fact, I'm sure we have).
That thundering sound in the distance might be a solid phalanx of elephants, on the move once more.
That thundering sound in the distance might be a solid phalanx of elephants, on the move once more...running away from their responsibilities to the people of the United states of America, and becomming ever-more distant.
