The administration is clearly worried about the growing tide of questioning of its "marketing" of the Iraq war. It is churning out disinformation and confusion as fast as it can.
Many in the media are trying to counter this barrage, but they forget that this debunking was already done in 2003, and masterfully, by director Robert Greenwald. The documentary is called Uncovered: the whole truth about the iraq war.
I am convinced that if this documentary made it to prime time TV today, people would be clamoring for Bush's and Cheney's impeachment out on the streets. It would make "Fahrenheit 9/11" look like a kindergarten skit.
If you haven't seen Uncovered, don't walk: run to the nearest video/DVD store, or rental place, or public library, and get it. You will see what I mean.
The format of the documentary is an alternation between footage of Bush, Cheney, and other high-ranking administration officials selling the war, and interviews with intelligence experts, debunking everything the administration claimed.
The only question is: how can we get a major TV network to air this documentary? Clearly the climate is ripe for it, since the MSM has finally decided that this story has legs. Now is the time, before Americans become preocuppied with the holidays.
What are the channels to pitch this idea to the MSM? Any ideas?
