Raw Story has a headline (no story yet) suggesting that able danger hearings are on the way. For those that don't recall,
Able Danger was the program wherein 4 of the 9/11 hijackers, including Atta, were possibly identified as members of an al qaeda cell in the United States in 2000, over a year before the attacks. Hopefully this inquiry will be a full and thoroughgoing one that gets to the bottom of who knew what and when. I'm not terribly optimistic that the hearing won't be anything but a whitewash, particularly given that the Phase 2 investigation of Iraq intelligence hasn't gone anywhere (I'm not connecting the events, just the likelihood of a meaningful hearing).
UPDATE:
Raw Story now has the story up. Curt Weldon of the House wants to send a letter to Rumsfeld asking him to allow the former members of the Able Danger team to testify before the house. He believes a majority of House members will support this letter and call for a hearing.
