So Time noticed Dailykos. Great.
But did you actually see what they said?
Blogcheck
A year ago, when the U.S. military denied using chemical weapons in the Fallujah offensive, the Pentagon said white phosphorus (WP) was used only to illuminate the enemy's position. So when DAILY KOS this month unearthed an article from the Army's Field Artillery magazine in which Fallujah vets described WP "shake and bake" missions -- to flush the enemy out of trenches and spider holes -- the lefty megablog crowed, "Let's see them deny this sh__ now. The Pentagon last week admitted that it used WP against insurgents but not against civilians, and said it therefore violated no chemical-weapons treaties. KOS ceded the technicality but continued to question "the U.S.'s moral standing in this war."
Can you believe this shit? They're saying we're swallowing the Pentagon's bullshit. We have to let them know otherwise.
I don't know about you, but this makes me so outraged I'm about to grind my teeth down to the nubs.
These mainstream media little fucks, sitting in there little cubicles coming up with cute little phrases like "megablogs" and saying we "ceded" the Pentagon's point?
How DARE THEY?
Here's where you write them:
letters@time.com
And here's what I wrote them if it'll help get you started:
Dear Editors of Time:
While you're sitting around in your office towers, sipping your lattes and making up words such as "megablogs" (something that I'm sure resulted in a few high-fives), many people are literally having their bodies melt to the bone because of the use of White Phosphorous in Iraq.
Thank you for pointing out that DailyKos was doing your JOBS FOR YOU by discovering that the Military did indeed admit to using White Phosphorous in Iraq.
Since you in the mainstream media have completely quit doing your jobs, although you still put out this rag you call a "magazine" and some of you actually collect paychecks for it, I thought you might like to know of some other facts regarding our little foray into mass murder known as the Iraq "war".
In Fallujah we shot people in their beds as they lay sleeping and left their bodies to be eaten by dogs.

We also shot people who were trying to escape the city by swimming across the river. They were unarmed and were murdered by U.S. troops.
Many of what you so glibly refer to as "the enemy" were in fact tiny children and babies:

Because you see, as in New Orleans, the people were ordered to leave the city, but most had no means to do so, and were given no place to actually go to. Most had no choice but to stay in their homes, where they were suddenly turned into "the enemy" and were mercilessly killed by United States (oh wait, you journalist-whores use the term "coalition") forces massacred them.
If you could ever get away from your little cubicles long enough to actually do some research and do this thing that used to be called "journalism" you'd learn that what we did in Fallujah makes Mai Lai look like the Boy Scout Jamboree.
Or do you even know what Mai Lai is? Perhaps if Jessica Simpson had something to do with it you'd know. I'll bet you would!
At any rate, those of us who "megablog" at places like Kos are there because you guys quit doing your jobs a long time ago.
Which is sad, because Democracy depends upon there being a free press, and you guys just don't seem to give a shit about that anymore.
WE CEDED NOTHING. THERE WAS NO DISTINCTION BETWEEN CIVILIANS AND "INSURGENTS" IN FALLUJAH. Because everyone who DIDN'T LEAVE THE CITY WAS LABELLED AN INSURGENT. INCLUDING THE CHILDREN AND THE BABIES.
You people make me sick. You are disgusting. You are the lowest of the low and you should be ashamed of yourselves and it's because of people like you, and Judy Miller (who was completely punked by John Rendon. Who's John Rendon? Look it the fuck up. Read the new Rolling Stone magazine. He's the propaganda whiz who sold the war you incompetent fools) and all the other shills who simply vomit back up what the Pentagon and the Neo-cons feed you.
What good are you? Seriously, ask yourselves that. Preferably right before you go to bed, as you're trying to sleep. I hope you look at those pictures and realize that you are partially responsible for what you see there.
I hope they haunt you forever.
God I hate the mainstream media.
