Fox News Sunday is occasionally interesting, although filled with Foxraganda and outrageous shilling for King George.
Today takes the cake, and pushes Chris Wallace, who once had journalistic ethics, from the status of "journalist" straight into the "whore" category.
This morning, Chris was discussing matters with Carl Levin, a very sharp cookie. CW asked CL if he stood by the statement that George had conflated alQaeda and Saddam. CL said that he did, and quoted Bush directly. CW then played the tape, which supported CL entirely, although the quote could be clipped in several different ways.
Here's where the whoredom starts.
Chris would not let Carl Levin finish his points, and insisted, time and time again, that Carl Levin was wrong, and that the Presledent did not conflate the two. Carl restated his contention of lies from Bush, and added additional quotes.
Chris would not let it drop.
This is simply outrageous, although many are saying "Fox? Lying? Gee, what a huge surprise, NOT!" But, when you refuse to let a United States Senator finish his sentence, refuse to listen to his points, and carry water for the Administration, this crosses the line.
Anybody else see this?
