Libby is pleading not guilty. Which is certainly surprising me, and probably a lot of other people too. Because it means the case moves towards a full trial. And that means a lot of very publc hard questions for Libby, and the real likelihood that Rove, Cheney and the other conspirators will be cross-examined.
This is huge news, because it guarantees the details of the conspiracy will go public. So I think a lot of people are going to read this as a deliberate attempt to out the others involved. Which either means Libby isn't getting the assurances of a pardon that perhaps he was expecting. Or perhaps that he's deluded enough to believe he can win the case.
Either way, expect theatre and high drama.
