I was looking over the bio for Nevada senate candidate Jack Carter on his new web site for the 2006 race,
http://www.carterfornevada.com, and something struck me: he may have more of a chance of defeating Ensign than we give him credit for. Most of this observation has to do with the folksy and forthright text of the bio. Has anyone met or seen him speak in person? Just because Ensign is well established in Nevada does not mean he cannot be defeated. Does a folksy style fly in a flashy state like Nevada? With so many new residents each election, Carter just might be elected senator.
