Need help with web design, graphics, energy, moral support, whatever. 32 days to go. Has to happen fast.
National Strike for Truth and Peace
December 7, 2005
In 32 days . . . that's 768 very short fucking hours people . . . we have the chance to turn the goddamn day of infamy into the day that brings the Bush house of cards to its knees.
A national fucking general strike to shut these lying assholes down.
And don't start whining that the wingers won't like us stealing their fucking holiday. If there ever was a day to drive home the horror of Bush's war and the costs of deception, December 7th is it. Besides, wingers whine about everything. And on this fucking day, they'll be whining that their trains and planes and expresso machines aren't running. They'll be whining that their kids' teachers have said 'fuck you' and walked out of their classrooms. Along with their students. Along with their bus drivers. And their maids. And their programmers. And their waiters. And their Maytag repair men.
Along with you and me.
You say it can't happen? I say bullshit.
I say it has to happen. And I say it has to happen now. Not next January. Not next November. Not in three goddamn years when Bush has raped the world a thousand more times.
It has to happen now.
All it takes is you . . .
yes you . . . redirecting your keyboard from all your oh-so clever daily commentary to some kick-ass outrage-in-action for the next month. All it takes is you . . .
yes you . . . making a commitment that the lies will not stand.
Cindy did her part in Crawford.
Harry did his part on the Senate floor.
The students did their part walking out.
Now it's your fucking turn.
This strike is for real. It better be goddamn it, because I can't take any more of George Bush stinking up the White House and ruining the whole fucking world.
....................
So get off your ass and plaster this fucking poster everywhere. And volunteer to help make things happen. Hell, I don't know all that needs doing. But I do know this. If we don't do it, no one will.
Note to MSOC: Sorry for taking your name in vain without permission.
