With election day upon us, has anyone else noticed there are many Republicans in this country running for everything from local dogcatcher to Governor, who aren't exactly wearing the party colors with pride?
Driving the streets here outside Philly, I see alot of blue signs, some yellow signs (?), but very few red signs or Republican elephants... And it's not just the local signage - the TV ads for NJ governor race between Corzine and Forester would almost convince you it was a race between a Democrat vs. an Independent. Forester's ads seem to consist entirely of him trying to distance himself from Bush, Republican policies. He was basically forced to do this because Corzine was smart enough to tie Forester to Bush in the very first ad he placed...
more on the flip:
I believe this is something we are going to see alot of in the near and distant future. The corruption and failures of the Bush administration are becoming a serious liability for any person in this country attempting to run for office with an "R" next to their name.
And with Congress up for grabs next year, we are going to see hordes of Republicans doing their best to distance themselves from their dark lords in the Bush administration. We cannot allow this to happen. Every single Republican must be inextricably linked to the corruption and failed policies that have done so much damage to this great nation.
Make no mistake - the Republicans are in serious trouble. Not only do they need to separate themselves from Bush, they still need to run against their opponent. No easy task, only the dirtiest of the scumbags will be able to accomplish this tap dance. It is up to us to stop it from happening...
