I'd like to sue a law firm for suing a company I like very much, and for possibly affecting the value or resale value of the computer equipment I have made by that firm. :-)
They are suing for, of all things, scratches on a plastic music player made by Apple. Can you believe it? I know it sounds ridiculous, but that's what they are doing. I mean, my cell phone has scratches all over it, but I'm not suing LG or Verizon...
The name of the firm is Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro, and they are at 206-623-7292.

So, if you would like to start a class action against this law firm, let me know!
From their web site...
"Apple iPod Class Action Expanded Seeking to Include Purchasers Worldwide Plaintiffs allege the iPod Nano is defective in design, allowing excessive scratching of the screen to occur during normal usage.
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Consumers from the United Kingdom and Mexico filed a class-action lawsuit against Apple Computer, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, claiming the new iPod Nano is defectively designed allowing the screen to quickly become scratched with normal use.
According to the complaint the world's largest manufacturer of portable music players knew of the iPod Nano's design flaw but chose to ignore them in an effort to speed the product to market."
So, these "disgruntled customers" couldn't just take their music players back to Apple and whine until they got a new one, nooooooooooo! They had to go to a law firm, file a suit, asking not only for the price of the iPod Nano back, BUT (!) restitution and disgorgement of profits, compensatory and consequential damages, punitive damages, attorney fees, costs of suit, pre and post judgement interest, such other and further relief as the Court may judge necessary and proper (!).
