Will we EVER learn?

How could we screw this up?  Bush is at an incredible low --with only a 35% approval rating.  The country is finally waking up to the manipulations and lies that led us to this miserable war.  As a whole, Americans are down on the economy, their quality of life, and seeing the rich get richer at their expense.  Bush's integrity is FINALLY being questioned by our sleeping electorate, and one case after another of Republican graft and deceit is being exposed.  The Katrina debacle is still front and center.

Perfect, hmm?  So what does the opposing party -- our party -- do?  Once again, it blows the whole thing.  Its confused and disjointed and ununited message has allowed Frist and Fox and the administration spin machines to frame us as the "cut and run" party - and every channel I turn to is shouting it from the rafters.  And what will disenchant a largely ignorant American populace more?

When will Democrats ever understand the need to frame issues to appeal to the average person in this country?  When will they get decent media experts?  When will their relentless egos get the message that this country cannot afford (and maybe even survive) another four years of Republican greed, mismanagement, and dismemberment?  Didn't they hear that our President reportedly called the Constitution "just a g-d piece of paper"?

We're running out of time, folks.  We need expertise, and we need it now.
