OK, in the wake of the revelation (and admission) of illegal spying on Americans, even the MSM is starting to wander into foilhat territory. Coupled with the discovery of the 'torture flights', the attempts of the administration to reserve a CIA right to torture, the manipulation of intelligence information to support the invasion of Iraq, tossing Americans in jail without charges or resort to counsel, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera...
The question has to be: What else has Bush done?
Even the most mainstream members of the media must now be starting to ponder this question, as are any but the most rabid administration supporters. With his frank defense of his illegal activities yesterday, and a likely recap of his lies tonight, George W. Bush has shown such a blatant disregard for both law and tradition that one has to wonders if he would draw the line anywhere in his "defense of America".
So, break out the beam-scattering beanies. Crank up the speculation generators. Peer deeply into the dark, dank dungeon of BushCo's dreams. What else has he done? Where does it end? How much further does the trampling of the Constitution go?
