David Horowitz has
a new site that sets a new mark for ridiculousness in naming names as he
...examines activists for leftwing agendas and causes, radical egalitarians, and opponents of American "imperialism."
Here are some of the people he names:
- Ayatollah Khomeini -- Apparently "leftist" President Carter was really just pretending to send in the failed rescue mission. Apparently conservative icon President Reagan didn't make an arms-for-hostages deal with the Ayatollah. No, the Ayatollah must have been a leftist ally.
- Fidel Castro -- Apparently "leftist" icon John F. Kennedy didn't blockade Cuba, and get nuclear missiles removed from Castro's turf. Not only that, Castro has been known to eat French fries on occasion.
But wait, there's more!
- John Kerry -- Yes, that guy who dared to serve in Vietnam, even though he opposed the war, rather than taking his cues from Cheney and Bush, who supported the war but found ways to avoid serving. (They had "other priorities," doncha know?)
- Ramsey Clark --
Yes, folks, that's right. In this New World Order of RightThink, it is now readily apparent that Nixon's former cabinet members were, and are, in the vanguard of lefty extremism. [Clark was Johnson's AG! Whew! What a relief! Dick is still clean!] Among Clark's offenses:
Throughout his tenure as Attorney General, Clark focused on social issues and civil rights. He set up the first federal narcotics addict treatment unit. He restructured federal prisons to stress the importance of rehabilitation, early release, education, and job training. He oversaw the first federal gun-control law to be enacted in over thirty years. He proposed the prohibition of the use of wiretapping and electronic surveillance in criminal investigations.
This is typical of lefties, who consistently argue pragmatics and compassion over bloodthirsty vengeance and retribution.
- Mohammed Atta -- Yes, the 9/11 terrorist really worked for the Democratic Party, doing fundraising bake sales before plowing a jetliner into the WTC. Not only that, he was against school vouchers.
- Kofi Annan -- That man who advocates peace. How despicable! He's also against allowing good Christians to torture Muslim blasphemers.
- Martin Sheen -- He dares to believe that nuclear waste will remain toxic for tens of thousands of years, and believes that the health of Americans is more important than the right of a few well-connected men to reap healthy profit. Now that's un-American, isn't it? But that's not the worst of it:
Sheen's real name is Ramon Estevez; his father, Francisco Estevez, was a Spaniard who resided for a number of years in Cuba before settling in the U.S.
Ah yes, the all-important racial information. Be sure to read between the lines there. Wink wink, say no more.
- Barbra Streisand -- Who dared to say,
Never in my life have I witnessed a president and an administration that is so out of step with the needs of the country, so threatening to our future and so abusive in its use of power. The Clinton administration left this country with a budget surplus, and also a surplus in the goodwill we shared with our allies. Now we have a deficit in both.
Yes, lefties often display the audacity to point out the truth.
- Ruth Bader Ginsburg -- Who has these problematic opinions that Constitutional rights are for everyone, not just white men who own property. Not only that,
Ginsburg also dissented from the Court's decision that effectively gave President Bush the victory in the 2000 election.
Well, there ya go!
Thank God for David Horowitz, who never lets the truth get in the way of passionate conviction.
