...And no, we are not asking you for money to put ads on the air--just some good ole fashion netroots creativity and activism. We already handled the ad placement.
In the hours after we posted the "hey hey, ho ho, Social Security has got to go" piece on U.S. Senate candidate, Chuck Pennacchio's website, one of the constant refrains was a desire to turn it into an ad.
Well, we think that is a good idea. So, let's do it--and let's advertise it infront of the millions of people that view our campaign's BlogAds each day they are up (Kos, MyDD, AmericaBlog, Atrios and many more).
In fact, here are some of the comments:
I want ads on television (3.90 / 10)
Now. Now now now now now now now.
NOW.

And...
make it into a radio commercial (4.00 / 2)
Got to make this into a radio commercial that explains the GOP objectives are really to dismantle the SS.

Much more, but I think we all get the message. We need ads. So, let's do it.
You might have noticed that Chuck Pennacchio's campaign made a rather large "blog ad" buy today. In fact, the total audience for the buy provides more than 3 million impressions a day.
So, let's make an ad--and we will use it on each and every single one of our blog ads for a few days.
Here is what we have done: All the audio and video you need from event (including unhread/seen stuff) is on Chuck Pennacchio's campaign blog.
In fact, here is the link you will be able to find the tools you need at:

We will figure out a way, as a community to determine which are the "best." Or we will just run a bunch of them. Either way.
You don't have to believe it yet, but this campaign listens and will allow you a chance to participate in a meaningful way like never seen before.

[editor's note, by ttagaris] Tonight Chuck Pennacchio also participated in a conference call with a group of PA bloggers: The first of the reports is in. Take a look at the first impression (posted online) of the call. It might be instructive for many who find yourself wondering, "who is Chuck Pennacchio?"
