Well, I've recieved a lot of feedback on
Pacific Northwest Portal since its launch a couple days ago, and so has archerhouse.
It's gratifying to hear how estatic some people are about the ease of access that the portal provides.
On one page, you can view twelve blogs syndicated at once - four from Washington, four from Oregon, and four from Idaho, with the titles and descriptions of the last four posts - for a total of 48 headlines.
This syndication makes it simple and easy to follow forward-thinking bloggers in the Pacific Northwest. People are also thankful that we've built up a directory of local blogs and progressive websites.
more below the jump...
Our policy with this directory is not to discriminate. We'll gladly add you to the directory even if we don't syndicate your blog on our main page. And we don't filter out blogs and websites so that all you get is what we consider the "choice reads".
Nor do we insist upon waiting a certain amount of time for you to prove yourself as a blogger or an organization before we add you. We don't care if you're a newbie or a four year veteran. You'll get a listing in our directory all the same.
The Northwest Media page has recieved less compliments, but it still provides easy access to traditional news media outlets - newspapers, TV, and radio across the Pacific Northwest.
Anyway, thanks to all of you that have visited and are continuing to visit. The portal exists for you. Use it, enjoy it, tell us how to improve it.
