Doesn't it sound fishy that one day after the massive explosion that took the life of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, the US quickly condemed the Syrian Govt., and withdrew it's diplomatic presence from Syria? I admit I am no expert in bombings, but doesn't it generaly take a little longer than one day to draw a conclusion as to who is responsible? (SEE: Oklahoma City) Now I am aware that the Syrian motive for killing Hariri seems obvious, but who has more to gain by punishing Syria than the Bush Admin? Their motive is to show that Bush's invasion of Iraq was a success, in that it has convinced other nations (in the Middle East) to embrace democracy. I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but I would not put it past the CIA, or some other unnamed US intelligence unit to pull this sort of thing off.
