My fleeting hope was dashed even though Joe Scarborough/Scab-Burrow agreed with Louise Slaughter during Tuesday's segment of GOP Abusing Power.
Earlier, I tortured myself with HanniBully. It would be comforting to know I am not alone in my crazed ranting and cussing to an inanimate object.
I have, at times, leaped from the couch so I could stand in front of the television howling, "How can they report that with a straight face?!)
Sounds crazy, huh? Watching bobbleheads is my self-imposed form of torture.
Why do we watch these programs that piss us off in a huge way? I like to think it is because we see through the steaming bullshit. It disturbs us that much of the American public swallows these shows like a baby swallowing pablum.
Maybe we are hoping for a shining moment when something resembling the truth will air causing someone (sheeple) to pause and think.
I hope I'm not alone in the primetime torture-fest. If someone has wrote about this, then I apologize. There are soooo many diaries here--and I'm so glad of that!
This is my first diary and I wanted to do something I hope (holding breath waiting for comments reassuring me that I'm not bonkers for talking to my T.V.) everyone could relate to.
I will take on a serious topic next time. In the meantime, I'm getting ready to jump up, wildly flail my arms and scream to a one-dimensial Scab-Burrow: "Some people read history books, Asshole!"
Wait a minute--"Hey, vapid Playgirl editor, if you want to discuss Repubs being more "liberal" in the sack then talk to GANNON!!! AAaaahhh!!"
