Democrats and Judges

It is time for the Democrats to stand up and find their balls. I was moved to post this after watching Whoopi Goldberg on Maher. There are very few anymore that seem to stand up for fear of backlash. I think we have two Senators here in Illinois that do (Obama's vote on Condi notwithstanding), and definitely Teddy in Massachusetts, and a few others. In the House, even some that I always count on like Jesse Jr. even were shamed to vote for the Schiavo sham. This has gotta change.

With the judicial nominations coming up and the threat of the nuclear option vs. filibusters, Dems need to find their respective pairs, re-attach them and educate the public that fair judges ruled in the Schiavo case, in both state and federal courts. Now people like Tom DeLay are threatening the judiciary and making a larger issue of the upcoming nominations. Dems need to show the public that these people who are nominated by Bush are extremists. Start with Myers and continue to show the public that each "judge" nominated is a wing-nut extremist. The same extremists beloved by the likes of a Randall Terry and Alan Keyes.
