Well, with the approval of the nomination of Mr. Bolton looking less and less likely everyday. I felt that it would be appropriate to take a look at what the Freepers have to say about things. Feel free to laugh, or feel scared that these people have drank the kool-aid soooo completely.
WHAT AN OUTRAGE! Voinovich has proved himself a weak-kneed pathetic weenie once again
time for a recess appt if applicable
This is pathetic. Absolutely pathetic of Bush and the GOP
Exactly why do we have committees? It would seem to me that much of the senate pinhole conduit for legislation and debate could be reamed out into a much larger bore if we eliminate all committees except for foreign intelligence and military operations.
Lugar had to delay the vote because Voinovich pulled this, this is why you won't see a nuke option on judges or any serious conservative agenda being passed because of the RINOs.
This is why Tom Delay is worth his weight in gold.
YES!!! I was waiting for someone to say that.
I don't know what it is with the Ohio Republicans.
This is probably Voinovich's last term. He won re-election last year, winning all 88 counties. He has always rankled feathers in the conservative camp. This is probably one of the big ranklings however.
This is just another example that will be used here in 2006 for why changes need to be made in the Ohio Republican Party. The change being going from a liberal-to-moderate (RINO) leadership to a much more conservative leadership. Conservatives in this state have become fed up with Voinovich, DeWine, and Taft. Ken Blackwell, a true conservative running for governor of Ohio in 2006 has said that next year "will be a fight for the heart and soul of the Ohio Republican Party." (paraphrasing)
I feel sorry for the person handling the phones in Voinovich's office right now. It probably ain't pretty.
Of course they hurt us, but my point is that Lugar was publically humiliated. His face is the one that will be shown and mocked. That is a special sign of disrespect he alone will bear and if I were Lugar, unfortunately I'm not, I would make Voinivich pay.
And it goes on and on... Amusing, I have developed a pseudo-psychological profile of freepers, and I think I have figured them out. Think Eric Cartman, a kid whose mom buys him any and everything he could ask for and its not enough. He delights not in his own fortunes but rather the misfortunes of others. And when things don't go his way look out.
