Kos has written here:

about an amendment to the Constitution that would enshrine the 'right to privacy' as the law of the land.
When I read this:

and I consider the Christofascists' agenda of control and domination of the most intimate of private decisions (these people want to ban birth control for God's sake), it seems that such a move is not only politically brilliant, but incredibly necessary at this moment in our history.
A properly written addition to the Constitution would cover so much that is currently under attack that it would be, for Democrats, a "no-brainer." Just like the Rethugs make the Democrats try to dance to the music of their various constituencies by invoking "gay marriage," so could the Democrats make the Rethugs squirm by making them vote for or against privacy.
If not, why not? If so, how to get it on someone's radar?
